Description:
To conduct Safety investigations as required by dans SMM and GCAA requirements. Provide specialist knowledge relating to safety hazard identifications, safety related training and change management process when required. To participate as required in any safety related activities aligned to the maintenance or enhancement of the Safety Management System
Job Responsibilities:
- Investigate incidents and occurrences in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.
- Monitor, measure and report to the Team Leader Investigations on safety issues in agreed formats and within agreed timescales
- Assist in the development of investigation procedures for ATS within the framework of applicable international and local standards and procedures
- Complete TEMs (Threat & Error Management analysis) on relevant incidents and occurrences.
Job Requirements:
- Validation on both Aerodrome and Approach Radar ratings
- ATC Experience at a major international airport
- Experience in the application of an SMS, i.e. safety analysis, risk assessment, incident investigation
- Completion of Incident Investigation, SMS and Auditing courses
