Position: Segment Head – Business Sales & Strategy
Location: Head Office, Karachi
The Role
NBP Funds is looking for a capable and intelligent Segment Head – Business Sales & Strategy to drive the entire sales system and performance in a better way. The objective of this position is to increase the performance of the sales team, make distributors effective, create an accurate system of rewards and targets, and optimize various sales channels so that the company’s sales continue to grow.
This role involves translating management goals into actionable sales strategies, strengthening performance and reward systems, and expanding the company’s business across retail, institutional, digital, and other platforms, so that NBP Funds can grow further.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve and enhance sales channels:
- Review and improve existing sales channels such as branches, distributors, digital and institutional channels and products.
- Help create and implement new sales channels and tools.
- Take channel-level actions to increase market reach and operational efficiency.
- Sales Bank, Product Press and Performance:
- Lead the sales team and prepare sales targets, key performance indicators (KPIs) and reports.
- Periodically review performance and review accordingly.
- Assist in developing and launching new investment products.
- Rewards and Commission Management:
- Calculating sales commissions and rewards and ensuring timely disbursement.
- Improving the reward system to ensure team performance and profit goals are met.
- Distributor and Bank Relations:
- Maintain relationships with key distribution bank partners.
- Assist in negotiating, managing and renewing distribution agreements..
- Collaboration with teams:
- Working with Address Transformer, Finance, Compliance, IT and CRM teams.
- Automating sales work, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with regulations.

- Strategic Thinker: Ability to analyze market trends and translate them into business plans.
- Data-Driven Leader: Experience in leveraging business intelligence to optimize KPIs.
- Collaborator: Ability to bridge the gap between sales, brands, and operations.
- Regulatory Expert: Deep understanding of the Asset Management industry and SECP framework.
Education & Professional Credentials
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualifications (CA, ACCA, CFA, MBA) will be considered a strong advantage.
