Pakistan Refinery Limited is seeking profiles for the position of Engineer Operations in our Operations (Boiler House) Department.

JOB TITLE : Engineer Operations

REPORTS TO : Shift Manager Plant Operations

The job of the operations engineer is to check the daily operations of the plant and make sure that all systems are running properly. He monitors the important things, sees the proper use of chemicals and oil, and keeps track of production losses and fuel consumption. If there is a need for improvement, he gives advice and runs the plant in test runs.They follow environmental and safety rules, help start and stop the plant and use it if there is a problem. They allow the work system to be followed during maintenance so that the work is done in the safest way. They take immediate action in case of an emergency, stop the machine or plant in the safest way possible and report every incident.

Education: B.E. / B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in refinery or process industries.

Monitoring plant processes and machines and taking action if there is a problem, especially in DCS system. Starting and shutting down the plant in the dark. Keeping a stock of energy and materials. Following the Permit to Work System (PTWS). Taking immediate action in emergencies and performing hazardous work.Working with the team to improve the performance of machines and basic use of SAP is a paradise. Always follows HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) rules.
