Job Vacancy: IT Support Officer

Generic Role Description

• Install and set up computers and software
• Check and maintain systems and networks
• Resolve computer or network problems.
• Replace parts as needed
• Provide support to customers and prepare simple reports.
• Repair faults by following instructions.
• Assist in installing new software
• Resolve new user accounts and password issues
• Responding to complaints in a timely manner
• Keeping a job on track until it is completed
• Managing multiple issues at once
• Building good relationships with customers and the IT team
• Testing new technology
• Checking the security of computer equipment

Desirable Education, Skills Knowledge & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree from an HEC recognized University.
• Technical Knowledge: Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows, MS Office, and Linux (Ubuntu).
• Experience: At least 1 to 2 years of experience.
