Position Title = > Electrical Technician – Steam Turbine Based Power Plant
Employment Type = > One Year Contractual

We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Electrical Technician to join our Cogeneration Power Plant equipped with steam turbines and a 132 kV grid interconnection, located in Punjab. The role is focused on maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability of electrical systems supporting steam turbine operation and grid export.

🕒 Experience Required: 7 Years (Steam Turbine Power Plant experience preferred)

📝 Key Responsibilities:

• Power Equipment** Performs preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance of transformers, generators,
• motors, batteries and chargers.
• Troubleshoot faults in power and control circuits, MCC panels, switchgear, protection circuits**.
• Maintain and test transformers** (oil sampling, BDV testing, protection testing, condition monitoring).
• Motors, starters, VFDs, heaters** and motor protection circuits and troubleshoot.
• DC System** Maintain and troubleshoot battery banks, UPS and control circuits.
• Electrical drawings and schematics** Diagnose faults in the equipment.
• Maintains maintenance records, faults, test results** and equipment history.
• Follows electrical safety rules, LTO, Permit to Work** and legal safeguards.

🎯 Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong electrical maintenance and troubleshooting** experience, especially steam turbine or cogeneration plant me.
• Good understanding of **Generators, excitation systems, transformers, motors** and plant auxiliaries.
• Control circuits, interlocks, power circuits** me.
• Electrical test equipment** or field troubleshooting experience.
• Basic reporting skills** me.
• Safety and disciplined work practices** me.
