We’re after someone who actually knows their way around the guts of infrastructure—servers, networks, the whole shebang. Toss in serious cloud chops, some virtualization wizardry, knows backup isn’t just hitting CTRL+S, and doesn’t break a sweat talking cybersecurity tools. If you geek out over that stuff, you’re probably our person.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, run, and babysit Active Directory and Azure AD for clients (yeah, someone’s gotta do it). Tinker with cloud stuff—Microsoft Azure, Office 365, even AWS if you’re feeling wild. Spin up virtual machines and wrangle VMware or Nutanix like a pro, right in the client’s backyard.

Got backups? Of course you do—Veeam, Rubrik, Acronis, you name it. If it saves your bacon, I’ve probably configured it. Email security? Proofpoint, Fortinet—if it blocks spam or stops a phishing scam, I’m on it.

Endpoint protection? Trend Micro all the way, because who loves ransomware? No one, that’s who. Oh, and ManageEngine tools—ServiceDesk Plus, OpManager, the whole circus—I’ll get ’em running smooth.

I’m not just a keyboard warrior, either. I actually talk to customers, write docs that don’t put you to sleep, and show folks how stuff works. Team player? You bet—I’ll huddle up with pre-sales and project folks to make sure things don’t go sideways.

If something breaks (and let’s be real, it always does), I’ll dive in and fix it, whether it’s during rollout or after the dust settles. Plus, I keep my ear to the ground for new tech—can’t have clients stuck in the Stone Age.

Requirements:

You’ve probably got a bachelor’s in computer science or something techy—IT, whatever, as long as you know your stuff. Been in the trenches for a decade or more? Perfect. You should seriously know your way around Microsoft gear, especially Active Directory and Office 365. If you live and breathe Azure and AWS, even better.

Virtualization? VMware and Nutanix shouldn’t freak you out—you should’ve messed with both. Storage and backups? If you can talk Veeam, Rubrik, or Acronis without Googling every five seconds, you’re golden.

Extra points if you’ve done battle with email and endpoint security—Proofpoint, Fortinet, Trend Micro ring any bells? Oh, and if you’ve wrangled the ManageEngine suite, that’s a win.

You gotta be a problem-solver, not just a checkbox-ticker. Fix stuff, don’t just escalate it. Oh, and don’t be a robot—communication skills matter. Got some certs (Microsoft, VMware, AWS, Veeam)? Sweet, but not a dealbreaker.
