Manager – Technology & Cyber Risk Advisory

Yousuf Adil Chartered Accountants wants a “Manager – Technology & Cyber Risk Advisory” for their Karachi office. Yeah, that’s a mouthful, but basically, they’re after someone who actually gets tech, understands risk, and can handle a meeting without falling asleep.

• What’s the gig? Well, you’ll be running IT audits and advisory gigs from start to finish—planning, doing the thing, writing it up, and then actually talking to clients (so, if you’re allergic to conversations, maybe not for you). You’ll poke around in IT general controls, app controls, all that cybersecurity jazz, maybe some cloud wizardry, and whatever shiny new tech is out there.
• They want you to tell clients what’s broken and how to fix it. You’ll help out with compliance stuff—ISO 27001, SOC 1/2, NIST, COBIT, you name it. Oh, and they’re big on relationships, so you’ll need to charm clients and maybe hunt down some new business while you’re at it.

Qualification

You’ll also be wrangling junior team members, coaching them up, and making sure the vibe stays positive. If you’ve got certifications like CISA, CISM, CRISC, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, you’ll probably impress them. Bonus points if you can help write slick technical proposals.

Experience

A degree in Computer Science, Info Systems, Cyber Security, or something similar—plus at least six years in IT audit, advisory, or cyber security (if you’ve done time at a Big 4 firm, they’ll love you even more).
