We are hiring Production Manager

Key Accountabilities

• Hit those production targets by getting creative with how we use what we’ve got—people, supplies, cash, you name it. I’m always double-checking production orders (because, let’s be real, mistakes happen), and I whip up schedules that actually make sense, not just on paper but in the real world. Some days, it’s like herding cats with the crew, but mentoring folks is kinda my thing.
• I keep my eyes glued to every step of the process, always on the lookout for shortcuts—less wasted time, fewer headaches, and hey, saving some cash never hurts. Company policies? Yeah, I follow ‘em (even if they’re a snooze). Oh, and I’m the go-to safety person. If there’s a rule, I probably know it by heart, and you better believe I’ll call you out if you’re slacking on it.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors

• Got a degree in engineering? Sweet. If you’ve been grinding away in a starch plant for, I dunno, a decade or so—especially if you’ve tangled with wet milling, modified starch, or liquid glucose lines—then you’re probably the unicorn we’re after.
• Bonus points if you know your way around SAP (not just using it, but actually helping to roll it out… because, yeah, that’s always fun). Oh, and don’t forget MS Office—nothing fancy, just don’t freeze up at the sight of a spreadsheet.
• We want someone who can think big, break down problems, manage and grow people, and always sniff out ways to do things better. If you can actually present your ideas without putting the room to sleep, major win.
