MCB Islamic Bank – IS Compliance Officer Wanted

Yep, we’re hiring!

f you’re a whiz at compliance and cybersecurity stuff, and you’d rather not work for a boring company, MCB Islamic Bank wants you as our new IS Compliance Officer. We’re all about growing fast and keeping our customers happy (because, duh, that’s the point).

Job Title: IS Compliance Officer
Location: Lahore (so, if you’re not into traffic, maybe bring a bike)

What you need:

– Bachelor’s in Info Security, Comp Sci, or something similar from an HEC-recognized university. Not rocket science, but you gotta know your stuff.
– At least three years doing GRC, cybersecurity, risk, compliance… you know the drill.
– Shouldn’t be a stranger to NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and all those fun acronyms.
– Regulatory frameworks like ETGRMF, PCI DSS, ISO 27001 – if those sound like alphabet soup to you, this probably isn’t your gig.
– Analytical brain, problem-solving ninja, and not afraid to speak up or write stuff down (in English, preferably).
– Can work solo or actually play nice with others.
– Got Security+, CISA, CISM, ISO 27001 certs? Sweet, but not a dealbreaker.

What you’ll actually do:

– Help build and tweak our info security policies, standards, and procedures. Make sure we’re not breaking any rules or lagging behind the industry.
– Keep an eye on compliance – basically, make sure everyone’s following the rules. Tattle if they’re not (just kidding… kinda).
– Jump in on audits, both inside and out. You’ll answer questions, fix stuff, and generally make us look good.
– Help out when security things go sideways. Investigate, report, suggest how to stop it next time.
– Guide our business teams, teach people not to click weird links, and prepare reports for the higher-ups who love their PowerPoints.
