We are hiring for the position of Area Manager Agri Procurement

• You’re running the whole potato show, start to finish. We’re talking about everything from scoping out which farmers make the cut for the FFFL program, to babysitting those spuds right from the moment the seeds hit the dirt, all the way through to harvest and getting them shipped off to wherever they’re stashing ’em – plant, cold storage, whatever.
• You’ve got to keep the big bosses in the loop too, showing them how the crops are doing (spoiler: they want numbers, not just “yeah, it’s growing”). Gotta stay on top of those farmer/crop logs too. If you promised some fancy agronomy plan, you better make sure it’s actually happening.
• Weather gone sideways? No time for panic – jump on it, fix what you can, and let the farmers plus your field crews know what’s up. And, don’t forget, you’re supposed to stay in sync with the Agri R&D folks, especially if they’re testing out some new potato-growing magic.
• If someone in another zone has a bright idea (or disaster), you better be chatting with them too. And of course, you’re always going back and forth with Quality, Warehousing, and Finance – because let’s face it, nothing gets done if you’re not all on the same page.
• Long story short: you’re the potato quarterback. Get the seeds, keep the farmers in check, watch out for curveballs, and make sure everyone’s talking to everyone else. Easy, right?
