WE’RE HIRING HEAD OF LIBRARY SCIENCES

Qualifications: Master’s in Library & Information Science (MLIS) (required) Certifications in digital libraries / databases (preferred) Member of a relevant professional library association (preferred) Experience: 7-10 years in an academic or research library 3-5 years in a leadership/supervisory position Knowledge of digital and/or hybrid library systems Knowledge of HEC/QAA accreditation process and international standards Competence in digital library or digital transformation Technical Skills: Koha, Dspace, EPrints EndNote, Zotero, Mendeley Turnitin and LMS integration in higher education environments Knowledge of AI search tools and open-access publishing

Key Duties: Lead the university’s library strategy Develop library collections and e-resources Provide research support to students and staff and lead research workshops Support the university’s digital transformation initiatives Promote a culture of reading and research at the university Core Skills Leadership | Strategic Space | Research Literacy | Communication | Mentorship
