Position Title = > Grid Supervisor
Employment Type = > One Year

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Grid Supervisor to join our team at a 132 kV Switchyard associated with a Cogeneration power plant. The role focuses on grid operations, power transformer maintenance, and overall electrical system reliability.

🕒 Experience Required: 06 Years
(Power Plant and Grid Station experience preferred)

📝 Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise operation and maintenance of grid systems, switchyard equipment, and power transformers.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of power transformers, including oil testing, protection checks, and condition monitoring.
• Monitor and maintain HT/LT switchgear, circuit breakers, isolators, CTs, PTs, and protection relays.
• Ensure proper functioning of electrical protection schemes for transformers, generators, and grid interconnections.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, single line diagrams, schematics, and protection logics.
• Maintain maintenance records, fault reports, test results, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with operations, mechanical, and instrumentation teams for smooth and safe plant operation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, permit-to-work systems, and statutory requirements.

🎯 Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of power transformers, grid systems, and electrical machines.
• Hands-on experience with transformer protections such as differential, REF, Buchholz, OTI/WTI, and overcurrent/earth fault relays.
• Good understanding of grid operations, synchronization, and load management.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, and coordination skills.
• Clear understanding of workplace safety and electrical safety practices.

🕒 Experience Required: 7–8 Years
(Steam Turbine Power Plant experience preferred)

📝 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise electrical maintenance activities for steam turbine systems and plant auxiliary equipment.
• Guide, assign, and monitor work of electrical supervisors and technicians.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical faults and support root cause analysis.
• Ensure reliable operation of electrical machines, protection, and control systems.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, single line diagrams, schematics, and wiring layouts.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  Coordinate with operations, mechanical, and instrumentation teams to ensure smooth plant functioning.
  Ensure compliance with safety standards, permit-to-work systems, and engineering procedures.
  Maintain and review maintenance records, fault reports, and technical documentation.
