Job Overview:
Officer Projects & Inspection – Soda Ash Business
-
Conduct inspections of plant equipment, structures, and materials.
-
Oversee development and mechanical modification projects within the plant.
-
Supervise maintenance activities, including thickness measurements, NDT, and visual inspections.
-
Maintain detailed inspection records, prepare technical reports, and recommend corrective actions.
-
Ensure all activities comply with safety and quality standards.
Manager HSE – Chemicals & Agri Sciences Business
-
Implement and manage HSE&S management systems aligned with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards.
-
Ensure compliance with local and national legislation (Factories Act, Environmental Protection Act, Fire Safety, Boiler Law).
-
Lead hazard identification, risk assessments, audits, incident investigations, and corrective action implementation.
-
Plan and deliver HSE training programs and manage emergency preparedness.
-
Monitor and report HSE performance, maintain HSE databases, and liaise with corporate and government authorities.
Eligibility Criteria & Requirements
Officer Projects & Inspection:
-
Education: Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or related field
-
Experience: 3–6 years in plant inspection, mechanical maintenance, or industrial projects
-
Skills: NDT, thickness measurement, hydrotesting, static equipment inspection, ASME/API codes, PTW, LOTO, technical report writing, coordination
Manager HSE:
-
Education: Bachelor’s / Master’s in HSE, Engineering, or related field
-
Experience: Relevant years managing HSE in industrial / chemical operations
-
Skills & Certifications:
-
Hazard identification and risk assessment expertise
-
HSE auditing & compliance management
-
NEBOSH IGC (Required), ASP/CSP (Preferred)
-
ISO 14001, ISO 45001 lead auditor certifications (Preferred)
-
Fire safety, emergency response, PTW knowledge
-
Proficiency in MS Office & reporting
-
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in relevant fields (Engineering, HSE, Industrial Management)

Certifications as per position requirements (NEBOSH, ISO Lead Auditor, PTW knowledge, etc.)
