Unit Head BI & Report Development

𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡
Lahore

𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or any related technical field from HEC recognized university

𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘
At least 7 years of experience in BI Tool(s)/ETL Processes, MIS/Dashboards/Data visualization, BI development & support, BI optimization/automation/bug fixing, adding new features to the existing BI platform.

𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪𝗗𝗟𝗘𝗗𝗚𝗘 & 𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗦

• Create and execute MIS and dashboards, using BI tools (Java Power BI).
• Analyze databases and data, using SQL and similar tools.
• Work with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server and MySQL.
• Manage large data sets and ETL pipelines.
• Connecting systems through web services and APIs.
• Analyzing data and SQL queries and making databases run faster and more accurately.
• Problem solving and self-discovery work.
• Understanding complex code and finding errors.
• Working alone or with a team is a must
• Good communication skills and teamwork are a must.

• What is the department’s plan for accomplishing its goals?
• Working through each step of software development and doing the most important work first.
• Writing good and accurate code.
• Testing and debugging your own and your team’s code.
• Database design and architecture.
• Maintain records and documentation of development initiatives.
• Achieve goals (SLAs and KPIs) that are decided upon.
• Identify ways to improve work and standardize processes.
• Manage and guide the team.
