Job Description

The Media Buyer will concentrate on the timely and strategic planning and implementation of media plans. In addition to managing media funds and campaign activity reporting while abiding by administration regulations and standards for delivery, this include conducting research and making recommendations for the best media channels and techniques for achieving campaign objectives.

Requirements:

  • Makes smart buys in light of budget constraints, future expectations, customer segmentation, competitive bidding, achievable objectives, and preexisting vendor contracts.
  • assures strict adherence to client budgets while still meeting or exceeding client expectations.
  • maintains a watchful eye on everything that is put out in the public domain, and is responsible for monitoring results and reporting on progress after the fact.
  • Before a campaign is launched, works with assistance from Ad Operations to complete all campaign tracking setup and implementation.
  • keeps abreast of all media trends and business prospects.
  • Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Amazon Ads, Pinterest Ads, and other channels must all be created, managed, and optimized by you.
  • You need to seize the reins and work with the rest of the financial team to tackle the media billing issues.
  • is crucial in establishing all reporting dashboards and gaining insights for every client reporting session.
  • maintains regular communication with the supervisor regarding the status of open accounts and quickly reports any issues that may arise.
  • Develops rapport with media members and keeps them updated on your progress.

Skills:

 

  • Having the ability to work successfully with other departments and teams inside the company, including those responsible for Creative, Account Management, Finance, and Project Management.
  • Strong familiarity and command of the jargon of the ad tech industry. Solid grasp of the digital world.
  • A quick-paced atmosphere must be anticipated, and decision-making must be easy.
  • Capable of effectively communicating within a team, with members of the external media, and with current clientele.
  • You need a deep familiarity with internet media data to negotiate the best possible transaction structure.
