MANAGER / DEPUTY MANAGER REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

JOB ROLE & REQUIREMENTS:

• Make sure we’re playing by SBP’s rules—yeah, that means all the AML/CFT stuff, PFMI, and whatever hoops we’ve gotta jump through for onboarding customers and merchants. Honestly, keeping up with those requirements feels like a full-time job by itself.

   

• Gotta stay in touch with the folks inside our own walls too, especially when some new regulatory order drops in. You know how it goes—everyone’s gotta be on the same page or chaos ensues.

   

• When the regulators or auditors come knocking (and you know they always pick the worst timing), I’m the one chatting with them, making sure we don’t look clueless during audits, inspections, or those super fun onboarding checks.

   

• If there’s an Inspection or Audit report, I’m all over it—making sure anything flagged gets fixed so we can close it out and move on.

   

• I’m also in this never-ending group chat with Legal, Risk, IT, and Ops, just to make sure we’re not missing any compliance gaps.

   

• Oh, and someone’s gotta keep an eye on how we’re bringing in new customers and merchants. That’s me—watching the onboarding steps and all the KYC/CDD stuff so nothing gets messy.

   

• Plus, I whip up dashboards and MIS reports for KYC compliance, onboarding timelines, risk levels, and whatever else throws up a red flag. Basically, if there’s a compliance metric, I’m tracking it.
