Responsibilities:
- Managing the operation and maintenance of groundwater, salt brines and sabkha in addition to ore minerals, remediation and economic geology
- Collecting rock, deposits and water samples and/or using field instruments to monitor conditions (rocks, deposits, groundwater, stormwater, surface water, soil vapor, soil/sediment, ..etc)
- Supporting and participating in site characterization investigations including rocks investigations, monitoring well drilling and installation, soil and groundwater sampling, and hydraulic testing events
- Developing and updating site maps
- Documenting, managing, and analyzing environmental data to develop graphical summaries and reports using equivalent software.
Requirements:
- An associate degree or a bachelor’s degree in geology, science, geosciences, hydrogeology, or a related field
- Foundational knowledge of hydrogeology especially for sabkha and salt brines
- Mechanical aptitude and experience maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical systems
- Prior work experience with an mining and engineering firm
- At least 10 years of mining and geological, minerals consulting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
- 10 years of mining and consulting experience. (preferred)
