The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team of sales representatives, and fostering strong relationships with retailers and distributors within the assigned area. This role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the mattress industry, a proven track record of achieving sales targets, and the ability to lead and inspire a sales team.
- Responsible for sales and collection targets, network expansion including opening new company showrooms, new market development, design and implement innovative promotional schemes in the given territory.
- Manage, mentor, and lead a team of sales representatives to optimize performance and enhance customer engagement.
- Manage Dealers, Distributors and hospitality customers and develop good relationship for business development.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure effective product positioning, promotions, and branding initiatives.
- Conduct regular sales forecasting, reporting, and analysis to provide insights and support business decisions.
- Bachelors degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven track record of at least 5-10 years in sales, preferably catering to the Hospitality sector of the mattress industry for UAE and KSA regions.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, market trends, and consumer behaviour in the mattress industry.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required.
- The results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated history of achieving or surpassing sales targets.
