Job Responsibilities:
- Perform asbestos surveys at client’ sites
- Perform routine bulk analysis of asbesto samples
- Assist in production of bulk analysis certificates , ensuring high standards of quality at all times
- Self manage the QC checks , sampling quantity all the while ensuring compliance with the documented in house procedures and maintain the HSE standards at all levels of operation
- Provide customer service and ensure customer satisfation
Job Requirements:
- Graduate / equivalent in science stream along with 2- 4 year experience in Asbestos bulk analysis, using techniques of polarised light microscopy and experienced in airsampling and fibre counting using phase contract microscopy
- An internationally recognised certificate in asbestos analysis and / or occupational hygiene (P401 certification or equivalent)
- Good IT skills to work on the relevant environmental softwares and documentation along with excellent english speaking skills
- Flexibility to work in varied shifts under arid desert conditions and able to lift 50+lbs periodically and able to stand on feet for long periods of time
