An Assistant Manager (Food & Beverage Sales) supports the Food & Beverage Team through analysis and reporting of results and trends, recommends sales approaches to expand and add business, and generate sales.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse local market trends and develop new business leads
- Maximise all Revenue opportunities
- Contribute to the selling strategy of the hotel, and manage the departments’ adherence to achieving that strategy
- Understand the competitive market place and implement approaches to ensure that the hotel’s Food & Beverage offerings stays ahead in the local market
- Sell our Food & Beverage outlets/products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, recommending solutions
- Maintain relationship with clients by providing support, information and guidance
- Researching and recommending new opportunities
- Recommending profit and service improvements
- Key point of contact between F&B management and its clients
- Answer queries, offering advice and introducing new products
- Organizing sales visits
Requirements:
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Excellent grooming standards
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
- Previous experience in sales role with the ability to close a sale
