Job Description

OBJECTIVE

The role is responsible for providing assistance to the Merchandisers on stock displays per planogram, takes initiative on stock replenishments and follow methods as per principal, i.e., FIFO system, apply knowledge on basic instructions and basic job execution to immediate goal of the business unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expected to execute instructions provided by the Merchandiser who will act as his immediate mentor while taking advantage of learning the workflow in preparation for his potential movement to higher role.
  • Takes initiative in exerting efforts to learn product display methodology and be able to put into practice with minimum supervision.
  • Should take prior approval/consent from the Merchandiser or Sales Manager (as and when it is required) for steps other than what is taught.
  • Customer interface might be part of the job for basic on the spot client or customer queries.
  • Queries/issues that cannot be handled by the incumbent should be escalated to the next line in-charge.
  • The role will be focused on the operational implementation of Merchandiser’s objectives in the assigned business unit or store outlets as being part of the frontline sales team.
  • The role requires physical exertion wherein employee must have strong physique and be able to blend in diverse operational and busy environment.
  • The job will be under extreme conditions due to country’s climate and mobility is of utmost concern for the role.
  • The incumbent primary responsibilities require physical exertion round o’clock where he will be required to manipulate physical goods from various shelves and store outlets.
