– Make sure the AC, plumbing, electrics, and all the random stuff guests never think about are working—always. If it breaks, you fix it, or get your crew on it.
– Don’t let anyone get hurt. Health, safety, environment—yeah, those all matter.
– Keep maintenance on point so guests aren’t complaining at 2 a.m. about weird noises or broken showers.
– Your team? They look to you. You’ll train, lead, and, honestly, sometimes babysit them.
– Budgeting, supplies, saving energy… all that behind-the-scenes stuff? That’s on your plate too.

What you gotta bring:

– Degree or diploma in Engineering or something close enough. If you can MacGyver a water pump, we wanna talk.
– 3-5 years actually doing this stuff, preferably in hotels. No, your cousin’s garage doesn’t count.
– Know your way around HVAC, plumbing, electrics, all that jazz.
– You can boss people around without being a jerk. And when things go sideways, you actually solve problems.
– Nights, weekends, holidays? Yeah, we’re a hotel. You’re in.
– Ever worked for Wyndham before? Cool, but not a deal breaker.
