Role Summary: The successful candidate will leverage current technical dexterity, cad application skills, knowledge of market apparel trends, and skills in jacquard design, to develop, create and manage innovative elastic styles with a focus on jacquard patterns. This role requires technical capabilities with the weaving processes as well as design software and the knowledge of the current market trends, in order to make functional, quality and visually appealing elastic products for wide ranging end uses in Nylon, Polyester, Viscose, Lurex and Cotton.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Weaving Technology, or relevant degree.

Experience: 4-6 years of relevant work experience in jacquard elastic or fabric design within a reputable Textile/Garments Manufacturing, Trims, Accessories or related Industries.

Essential Competencies:

• Familiarity with jacquard-dedicated software.
• Proficient with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (required for both technical and creative).
• Deep knowledge of yarn behaviour, weaving structures, elastic properties, and finishes.
• Good eye for detail, color theory, pattern integration, and trend adaptation.
• Ability to work with multiple production teams, sourcing teams and technical teams.
• Experience with international buyers or production set ups for export.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to adhere to technical constraints and manufacture accordingly.
