 Job Responsibilities:
- Development and delivery of collegiate learning experiences related to blockchain
- Ability to present the history and emergence of blockchain with its origins in open source and crypto currency, and link it to broader future technology applications
- Work with and teach APIs related to blockchain
- Present on likely applications for blockchain (fin tech, contracts, identification, voting, IoT, SAS media)
- Conducting research in the field of blockchain technology, including the (co-)supervision of PhD candidates, collaboration with other academic partners and industry, and acquiring external research funding and (co-)managing externally funded research projects
- Transferring knowledge and technology to external parties; Performing department and faculty management tasks.
Job Requirements:
- Applicants must have a degree or qualification in distributed systems or distributed algorithms, preferably in the area of blockchain technology or crypto currencies,
- A proven track record of research excellence, the ambition to strengthen and expand the research and teaching of the Distributed Systems group, a team player mentality, and good communication and social skills.
- Preferably, the successful candidate has experience in teaching at the university level.
