Responsibilities:

  • Understand the overall business including business trends and BMS corporate strategy and contribute with execution in close interaction with Cross Functional Team.
  • Accountable for the marketing of BMS CV brand in Saudi Arabia and Gulf Countries.
  • Lead the cross functional team to support integrated business strategies & execution.
  • Develops and implements innovative marketing strategies and tactics, ensuring completion on a timely basis and within agreed budgets.
  • Analyzes and translates trends, threats, and opportunities in the marketplace in terms of long-term business implications.
  • Champions annual brand planning to optimize market shares, while demonstrating superior forecasting analysis and control of brands expenditures.
  • Drives change by challenging the status quo. Identifies gaps and thinks strategically to bridge the gaps.
  • Interacts and builds strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with key Thought Leaders and others within the medical community.
  • Works with access to always ensure favorable pricing and reimbursement situations.
  • Works with medical to align on Life Cycle Planning and deliver specific actions/programs as required.
  • Trains and develops Field teams, as appropriate, on product/competitor knowledge and communication messages to the customers.
  • Works to the highest levels of integrity and compliance, always adhering to BMS Standards of Business Conduct and Ethics.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience within competitive therapeutic field; Cardiovascular is preferred.
  • 3+ years of Marketing experience.
  • New Product Launches experience is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Cardiovascular disease area.
  • Demonstrates capacity to acquire scientific information and agility to absorb new concepts.
  • Ability to develop, implement and execute innovative strategic and tactical marketing plans.
  • Analyze data and ask insightful questions to make effective decisions-experiments.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, effectively communicating and influencing decisions with senior management.
  • Ability to “flex” across different types of cultures, complexities, business situations and matrix partners.
  • Broad and in-depth understanding of local and regional issues relative to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong project management, analytical and forecasting skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to create energy and excitement.
  • Very good working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
