Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for securing new customers and maintain / develop existing accounts.
- Meet and exceed target set in terms of contributing and generating Gross Profit
- Negotiate with the accounts as per price guidelines given, to maximize profits & develop new revenue streams.
- Assimilate market information and take part in the overall business development through weekly / monthly sales meetings
- Manage a Trade Lane with key stakeholders
- Initiate dialogue with key decision makers (middle level managers) on products and draft a trade development strategy (both short and long term
Job Requirements:
- Over 10 years of previous experience in forwarding business
- At least 5 years of experience in Sales/Business Development and contract negotiations
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
- Valid Driver’s License and own car
- Extrovert personality combined with strong building relations skills
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Ability to work with MS Office tools, knowledge of Salesforce system would be an advantage
