The Business Development Representative (BDR) team is a brand-new function at Checkout.com and sits within the Commercial department. This role is based in Dubai and covers the MENA region, which poses an outstanding opportunity to play a pivotal role in building this function from scratch as one of the first members of the team.
The (BDR) is responsible for identifying and crafting new qualified opportunities for the wider sales team. You’ll be identifying key decision makers whilst embracing a creative outreach to qualify prospects and effectively position Checkout.com’s value proposition.

About You
- Prior 2-3 years experience of BD and lead generation in fintech and e-commerce business
- Have a passion for sales
- Resilient when faced with objections
- Intellectually curious
- Display confidence
- An excellent team player
- Desire and strive to work in a fast-paced and high growth environment
- Proficient in English and Arabic
What you will be doing
- Consistently exceed targets on a monthly basis
- Display a creative prospecting cadence for targeted accounts
- Become the authority on all things Checkout.com
- Understand our customers need to demonstrate the Checkout.com value proposition
- Keep your ear to the ground to ensure you’re on trend with the latest developments in different industries
- Learn and use various sales tools to network
- Work very closely with our sales team to help streamline the sales process whilst improving your knowledge
