Responsibilities:
- Analyse and perform troubleshooting of cathodic protection related problems for CP system to ensure continuous availability.
- Carryout inspections and participate in corrosion management, risk evaluations, structural analysis and failure analysis of cathodic protection system to facilitate safe operations.
- Supervise external and internal painting works and supervise pin brazing and stud welding activities to ensure quality.
- Monitor overall performance of cathodic protection systems to meet established schedules and instructions and highlight deficiency in the existing system.
- Supervise, record and plot the potential reading and take action to bring up potentials wherever they are below protective levels and reports major deviations for corrective action..
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent Professional Qualification.
- 6 years of experience in carrying out cathodic protection monitoring, upgrading and inspection activities within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry..
