Job Responsibilities:

• Be the MLRO of Hex Trust MENA FZE.
• Be responsible for regulatory filings and reporting.
• Be responsible for the review, investigation and onboarding of new customers and accounts.
• Participate in the ongoing review of existing clients to ensure adherence to AML / CFT and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations issued by VARA and other applicable government bodies.
• Assist with the development, implementation and enhancement of local policies and procedures.
• Assist with monitoring and testing activities to ensure adherence to group policies and procedures.
• Assist with compliance projects and other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Group Head of Compliance.
• Encourage and promote a compliance culture within the organization.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or Law degree.
• Compliance Professional Designation (e.g., ICA, CAMS certification).
• 6 to 10 years of relevant compliance experience and being a MLRO in a financial institution or regulated entity.
• Excellent understanding of KYC and customer due diligence requirements as well as risks and internal controls relevant to a financial institution.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to think critically, have an analytical mindset and pay keen attention to details.
• Understanding of virtual asset is a plus.
