Job Responsibilities
- Perform daily search for new tenders, review tender documents and identify significant information including timelines & task assignment tasks for the business;
- Initiate and manage meetings throughout the bid process with other contributor leads to ensure that a compelling commercial offer, the win strategy and themes are understood and communicated to the team;
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions;
- Monitor the potential to win and qualification status at all stages during the bid process;
- Implement and maintain contracts, pricing, and inventory requirements for existing customers
- Continue to work on process improvement, to improve our customers’ experience while reducing our operational costs to service our customers;
- Provide leadership and direction in overcoming problems and performing daily tasks;
- Provide timely, candid and constructive performance feedback, recognizing and rewarding team members for accomplishments, and developing employees to their fullest potential.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or a relevant combination of education and experience;
- Minimum of 2 years contract administration experience;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in French and in English;
- The individual must have relevant, proven experience of team leadership and people management;
- Ability to attain goals and objectives through delegating and managing teams;
- Demonstrated business skills in forecasting, budgeting, and training;
- Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives to generate growth in revenue;
- Solid analytical and critical thinking skills, and the ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports;
- Excellent negotiation skills;
- Superior relationship building and interpersonal skills;
- Understanding of the industrial, safety, janitorial and/or material handling industry is an asset.
