Description:

The Country Security Manager provides a comprehensive service that identifies risks, makes threat assessments, and conducts security risk management audits and investigations. The position assists the MEAP Security Director and business in the delivery of security awareness programs and make recommendations on security strategies to the MEAP Security Director and the business Leadership Team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Being Responsible for Physical security and Crisis Management (SCM) program for the protection of assets and employees within Iraq, Kuwait and Lebanon. Expertise within a field comprising of different approaches, methodologies, techniques, and processes.
• Operating in a large matrix organizational environment “operationally”, reporting to the relevant country Leadership and Business Management Team and “functionally” to the Regional Security Director (MEAP). The Security Manager will be the primary focal point for advice on security and risk management matters across all business & operating activities.

Job Requirements:

• Have Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Security Management and 10 years’ experience in security and 5 years of operational experience in Iraq is essential, experience in Kuwait and or Lebanon is desired
• Able to fluently speak and write in English
• Have excellent knowledge of the oil and gas industry (Baker Hughes)
