Role
- Evaluate new credit requests and conduct client credit checks; obtain commercial credit reports for new customers and recommend credit limits based on their credit risk evaluation.
- Manage the sales ledger, prepare aging and month-end accounts receivables reports on debtors ledger and be accountable for working capital.
- Collaborate with sales team and customers for cash and cheque collections, aged debt, default payment escalations, AFDA and dispute resolutions.
- Prepare customer statements and accurate monthly credit control aging reports; respond to customer enquiries regarding their outstanding payments.
- Upload invoices onto customer portals and ensure they are accepted and processed for payment.
- Minimize bad debt write-offs and ensure all are subject to correct authorization and sign off process.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 5 years’ experience in credit control and accounts receivable with strong expertise in analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and ledgers and investigating and resolving any anomalies.
- Prepare frequent aging reports and collection targets for management for the sales department.
- Strong commercial and business acumen to maximize company profits by minimizing debts and risks through effective DSO and aged debt management.
- UAE driving license is mandatory.
