Flint International
Data Engineer | Jobs In Dubai
Yo, Data Engineers—Flint International needs you in Riyadh. It’s a 6-month gig, so don’t get too comfy, but hey, six months is a solid chunk of time (enough for a couple of bad habits and at least one office in-joke).
What’s the deal? You’ll be whipping up and fine-tuning data pipelines—think SSIS and Informatica, not just duct tape and hope. We’re talking real ETL wizardry: pulling data from all sorts of places, cleaning it up, shoving it where it needs to go, and making sure nothing explodes in the process.
You’ll hang out with business analysts and whoever else needs data, figure out what they want (even if they’re not sure themselves), and basically make sure everything runs smoother than my last attempt at making pancakes (which, let’s be honest, isn’t saying much).
Here’s what you gotta bring to the table:
– At least 5 years doing this data engineering/ETL thing. No, your cousin’s side project doesn’t count.
– You actually know your way around SQL Server, SSIS, and Informatica. Not just “I watched a YouTube video” level.
– You get data warehousing and how it all fits together. Integration—yeah, that too.
– You can make slow SQL queries cry and run faster. Performance tuning isn’t just a phrase you throw in interviews.
– If you know about data quality and governance, nice flex. It’s a bonus, not a dealbreaker.
– You can actually talk to people and not just your computer. Teams, meetings, all that jazz.
If you’re into making data pipelines sing and you don’t mind spending half a year in Riyadh, go ahead and throw your hat in the ring. Drop us your details—show us what you’ve got.
