Position Title = > Senior Instrument Technician – Cogeneration & Steam Turbine Plant

Qualification = > DAE Electrical/Electronics

Employment Type = > One Year (Contractual)

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Sr. Instrument Technician to join our Cogeneration Power Plant equipped with steam turbines and a 132 kV grid interconnection, located in Punjab. The role focuses on the maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and reliability of instrumentation and control systems supporting safe and efficient plant operation and grid export.

🕒 Experience Required: 7–8 Years (Steam Turbine / Cogeneration / Power Plant experience preferred)

📝 Key Responsibilities:

Carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of field instruments including pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters, switches, analyzers, and control valves.

• Troubleshoots problems in steam turbines and plant equipment.
• Calibration, testing and setup of equipment and control loops.
• Maintains and troubleshoots PLC, DCS, turbine and protection systems.
• Checks and maintains control valves, actuators, solenoid valves or pneumatic systems.
• Maintains vibration and speed instruments of rotating machinery.
• Reads diagrams and data sheets to diagnose faults.
• Maintains calibration and breakdown records.
• Follows safety rules, regulations, and permits.

🎯 Required Skills & Competencies:

• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting equipment in steam turbine power plants.
• Good knowledge of process control, turbine equipment, and plant auxiliaries.
• Diagnosing faults in control loops, interlocks, and trip systems.
• Must be able to use calibration tools, simulators, and field testing equipment.
• Able to create reports and documents in MS Word and Excel.
• Maintain safety and work discipline.
