Job Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage and deliver all Pluspuu Client & Pluspuu-owned construction projects from initiation, through planning, cost sign-off, general contractor selection, owner approvals, work on site, change orders, handover and final accounts/project sign off to ensure on time, on budget and exceeded client expectations in every case
- Direct, oversee, participate in and assist with all general contractor led construction projects to ensure overall client satisfaction including managing and resolving any issues with project delivery or cost during the life of the project, liaising with contractors, trades, clients and other internal and external stakeholders as required
- Ensure delivery of project in line with the approved design standards and in accordance with all building code requirements
- Ensure site safety requirements, safety compliance and other onsite management is fully supported through design and delivery
- Provide up-to-date project progress, risk, change order and milestone reporting on agreed to timeframes
- Develop strong working relationships with the Client, regional engineering offices and all vendors to ensure 100% client satisfaction
- Develop a quality assurance program for the QC/QA teams to participate in initial and closing stages of all Pluspuu new home builds. Ensure QC/QA teams have all relevant and current information available to deliver successful projects..
Job Requirements:
- Engineering, architecture degree or an equivalent combination of technical training with a community college program in construction management, ideally supported by a minimum of five to eight years of construction experience. You MUST have experience building homes.
- Self-motivated with ability to assume responsibility and to interface with multiple internal and external stakeholders and to represent the company and project team in a professional manner
- Fluent in market leading technologies for design, architecture and project management purposes in the residential construction sector
- Must be hard-working, diligent, analytical with a financial acumen and high sense of urgency
