Job Responsibilities
- Establishing effective and collaborative working relationship with Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Experience, Marketing and AGLT; ensure regular communication on QA/QC related issues
- Leading the testing process for product development to ensure that adherence to regulations while delivering the highest customer experience
- Ensuring all related Departments including QA, supply chain, manufacturing, QC, production, distribution, customer service is complying with GMP, Health Canada, FDA, REACH and EU.
- Directing the day-to-day activities of the quality assurance and quality control departments
- Identify, interpret, and ensure compliance with all applicable domestic/ international regulations and pharmacovigilance activities applicable to AG’s products and processes by maintaining current regulatory knowledge
- Developing and implementing policies, standards and procedures for finished goods, raw materials and technical work performed by the department
- Acting as key point of contact with government agencies; leading correspondence with government agencies to ensure that they are complete and proper
- Keep COO & CEO fully informed on all important quality issues facing the brand, the Company, both internally and externally

Job Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of previous experience with minimum 5 years at the management level; preferably in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or natural health product manufacturing industry
- Completion of Bachelor of Science in Chemistry
- Solid background with quality assurance and quality control fundamentals
- Strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills
