Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the project/programme management office. Contribute to improving quality and consistency;
  • Coordinate and supervise the project management department ensuring that the department meets performance targets;
  • Supervise the project managers for the realization of projects/programs and ensure that the projects/programs are carried out on schedule, and within scope and budget;
  • Coordinate the design, production and development of documentation for the various projects;
  • Define the work methodology standards and tools to be used for the project management department.
  • Provide strategic technical, operational, financial direction and leadership as well as managerial direction and leadership for successful implementation of project activities;
  • Oversee project implementation, including all activities, outputs and outcomes related to project management and administration, including reporting, budget development and monitoring, financial transactions, l execution of project plans and project performance;
  • Oversees the selection and training of qualified staff for the program, assigning clear roles and responsibilities, providing effective supervision and managing performance to ensure effective operations;
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.

Job Requirements:

  • Master’s degree an asset;
  • Bachelor’s degree required;
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project management;
  • Minimum of 3 years in a project role in construction, architecture or technology deployment;
  • Experience in the field of electronic manufacturing, an asset;
  • Solid technical background, with practical experience;
  • Comfortable with computers and associated applications, and particularly comfortable with Office, Excel and project management software;
  • PMP certification is an asset;
  • Excellent internal and customer communication skills;
  • Critical thinking, ability to solve problems and manage conflicts;
  • Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Practical approach;
  • Bilingual English and French
