Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the project/programme management office. Contribute to improving quality and consistency;
- Coordinate and supervise the project management department ensuring that the department meets performance targets;
- Supervise the project managers for the realization of projects/programs and ensure that the projects/programs are carried out on schedule, and within scope and budget;
- Coordinate the design, production and development of documentation for the various projects;
- Define the work methodology standards and tools to be used for the project management department.
- Provide strategic technical, operational, financial direction and leadership as well as managerial direction and leadership for successful implementation of project activities;
- Oversee project implementation, including all activities, outputs and outcomes related to project management and administration, including reporting, budget development and monitoring, financial transactions, l execution of project plans and project performance;
- Oversees the selection and training of qualified staff for the program, assigning clear roles and responsibilities, providing effective supervision and managing performance to ensure effective operations;
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree an asset;
- Bachelor’s degree required;
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project management;
- Minimum of 3 years in a project role in construction, architecture or technology deployment;
- Experience in the field of electronic manufacturing, an asset;
- Solid technical background, with practical experience;
- Comfortable with computers and associated applications, and particularly comfortable with Office, Excel and project management software;
- PMP certification is an asset;
- Excellent internal and customer communication skills;
- Critical thinking, ability to solve problems and manage conflicts;
- Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Practical approach;
- Bilingual English and French
