ASSISTANT QUALITY MANAGER – CLINICAL LAB

LOCATION:

DR. ZIAUDDIN HOSPITAL, HEAD OFFICE NORTH NAZIMABAD CAMPUS.

JOB SUMMARY:

• I make sure we actually follow all those Quality Assurance rules—stuff like ISO 9001:2015, ISO 15189, SHCC, and CAP. Not just ticking boxes, either.
• I’m the one who keeps the QA and training wheels turning. Every year, I look over our quality plan—yeah, I actually read it—and then tell the lab director or manager if it needs a tune-up.
• Data? Oh, I’m on that. I collect, dig into, and actually make sense of all the QA and QC numbers, then throw it into reports for management or whoever else needs to see them—ISO, CAP, you name it.
• And look, I can talk to just about anyone—lab techs, the big bosses, even outside folks. So, yeah, solid people skills in the mix too.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Make sure all those key processes for the Quality Management System aren’t just floating around—get ’em set up, actually working, and not ignored.
  Jump in on setting quality goals, writing them down (so people don’t forget), and figuring out how we’ll actually hit those targets.
  Help whip up, organize, and update those quality manuals for the clinical labs—because no one likes old, confusing instructions.
  Keep an eye on the quality system—if something’s off, flag it and fix it. Don’t just let it coast.
  Pitch in with the document control mess. Someone’s gotta keep track of what version is what.
  Clue in the lab bosses. Give ‘em the lowdown on how the quality system’s holding up, where it’s falling flat, and what we need to tweak—especially when it comes to big decisions.
  Spot when people need training (because, honestly, we all forget stuff), and set up sessions so everyone’s up to speed.
  Watch over risk management—if you see a disaster coming, shout about it before it hits.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Academic/ Professional Qualification: M.Phil. / MS / BS in Clinical Laboratory Sciences/Allied Health Sciences. MBA in Health Care Management will be added advantage.
• Work Experience: More than 1 yr. after post-graduation.
