  • Manage production, communication and implementation of individual show project plans ensuring all tasks are carried out on a timely basis & within deadlines set across all your events from Product, Sales, Marketing, IT, Operations, Customer Services Event leads.
  • Assign tasks as required within the target operating model to ensure all agreed KPI’s are delivered on project plan driven time and within budget.
  • Be the key point of contact for the show teams in all matters on your allocated shows, internal and external.
  • End to end responsibility for delivery of your allocation of Tech Enabled events (in-person and online) for the year.
  • Gather the event team’s platform requirements for the event, understanding their strategy, key components for sponsorship fulfilment and so on and building the project plan for the event to fit these needs.
  • In collaboration with the Product Team advising on the pre-determined EMEA suite of available platforms best suited to the above needs.
  • Become a platform expert to support teams to learn & utilise the pre-determined EMEA suite of available platforms to their fullest capacity. This includes Event management platform and registration processes
  • Supporting your allocated teams / portfolios with the onboarding process for digital events.
  • Working with the wider EMEA Events Operations and Customer Services team to support with operational and onboarding tasks which establish excellent service & meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Proactive project management, identifying potential issues and finding resolutions to help mitigate them before they happen. Scheduling frequent project check-ins and lead troubleshooting (partnership with Product).
  • Support the Show / Brand team to create & manage the Digital Operations budget.
  • Ensure all allocated events are working within the company’s digital sustainability guidelines at all times and complete and submit a digital fundamentals workbook for each event.
  • Implementation of internal and external Service Level Agreements on all allocated events.
  • Contribute to the successful and collaborative management of the EMEA operations department aiming for operational synergy across EMEA.
  • Compile event reports and KPI analysis on each event at the end of cycle.
  • Work with colleagues to achieve best practice in terms of operational planning and management.
  • Adhere to all Informa compliance requirements and monitor supplier performance to ensure they are meeting our requirements.
  • Share best practice examples with other teams to enhance their capabilities and to create a more consistent for a Tech enabled ‘Informa experience.
  • Monitor best practice in other companies and at industry events and bring your insights to Informa to keep us ahead of the competition.

Job Requirements:

  • Work with Product and the Group Operations Manager on the implementation of platform and event changes / improvements to the Customer Journey. Support this work to ensure consistent operational delivery.
  • Leads by example to ensure the respective Show Team, EMEA Operations and Customer Services teams know what customer service level is expected.
  • Sets up routes of communication, constructive feedback with internal and external parties to always ensure best customer experience.
  • Continually evaluates processes to ensure they are appropriate for customer needs.
  • Ensures customer feedback is translated into future Product roadmaps and event delivery process changes.
