About the role

The main purpose of this role will be to support the Events Manager and consistently support the organisations events primarily in terms of administrational support. You will need to create and manage email blasts, maintain the website and distribute weekly reports to website designers. You will assist Event Managers with maintaining and planning technical programs as well as communicating with conference speakers.

You will be in charge of following up consistently with all event vendors and suppliers as well as overseeing the technical program charts. You will also be responsible for creating and managing the event marketing plan and following up on registration lists and committee registration badges. Also as part of your role, you will provide onsite assistance when required, assisting with the administrative event tasks and additional conference programs.

About you

To be considered for this role, you should have at least 2 years previous experience as an event coordinator with a strong administration background, having specifically used MS Office suite extensively.

The ideal candidate should already be residing in Dubai. Travel may be involved in line with company requirements, so a valid UAE driving license and own car is essential. You must be a fluent English speaker with outstanding communication and organisational skills. The role will require working under your own initiative, therefore a motivated and proactive attitude is needed. Only candidates who meet the full criteria will be contacted.
