1- Senior Designer
Job: Full Time
Location: Dubai, UAE

Description:

The Senior Designer contributes directly to the EDGs business success by helping grow its content library and inform product development through qualitative and quantitative data gathered in the projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create, manage and facilitate visual design for EDG, primarily for print products and Group collateral, but also contributing creative support to other EDG functions as required
• Work closely with Editorial Director to meet client objectives and ensure world-class standards across all products
• Manage the Design team day-to-day, across all products and deliverables.
• Coordinate between the design team and other teams in the organisation to ensure smooth flow of work
• Stay up to date with the changing trends in the field and best practices

Job Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in editorial design, either on publisher, brand or agency side
• A world-class visual storyteller with outstanding expertise across the full spectrum of editorial design (from research, strategy and prototyping, to final execution)
• Expert knowledge and experience with a broad range of tools
• Background in managing a cross-functional design team and experience in implementing accountability for your team and setting up processes to enable designers to meet agreed-to deadlines
