Key responsibilities
- Overseeing the management of premises and office equipment, including repairs, maintenance, and pest control
- Leading, managing and motivating a team that handles facilities, messenger, administration, reprographics and reception services
- Ensuring the security of the staff and offices
- Managing the facilities budget, overseeing Health & Safety in the workplace and addressing environmental and CSR issues
- Leading projects for office moves, fit-out and refurbishment in the Middle East
- Project managing tasks, including space planning, arranging resources and equipment, and keeping to deadlines
- Managing vendors and service providers, including contract negotiation and invoice review
- Managing office and car park space, including monitoring usage and analysing data
- Overseeing the supply of office consumables
- Managing deliveries and post
- Communicating changes in office procedures and writing and implementing policies
- Serving as an escalation point for regional offices in the Middle East
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a facilities manager, with a preference for Middle East experience
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience in leading, managing, and developing teams
- Eligible to work in the UAE: UAE nationals and international candidates are welcomed
