We are hiring for the position of Area Manager Agri Procurement

Job Responsibilities:

• Running the show for potato crop procurement, start to finish. It’s not just about buying spuds—it’s about picking which farmers make the cut for the FFFL crop gig (hey, not everyone gets a golden ticket). I’m on top of everything: from handing out seeds, to making sure the harvest lands either at the plant or stashed somewhere chilly in cold storage.
• Gotta keep the brass upstairs in the loop on how the crop’s doing—sending them updates, scribbling in those farmer/crop diaries (which, by the way, is more paperwork than anyone admits), and making sure nobody’s going rogue on the agronomy plan.
• If the weather decides to throw a tantrum? I’m on it. Fast fixes, ringing up farmers and field crews before things go sideways. Oh, and there’s a lot of back-and-forth with those Agri R&D folks—whatever wild new trial they’re cooking up, I’m usually in the thick of it.
• Also, yeah, I’m constantly chatting with other regions. If there’s a big strategy shake-up, I’ll hear about it—probably first. And let’s not forget, I’m always syncing up with the Quality squad, the Warehouse crew, and the bean counters in Finance. If it matters to more than one team, it’s on my radar.
