About the role

  • Respond to inquiries and actively solicit new business with the intention of confirming profitable catering business and achieving Monthly Production Goals.
  • Uncover clients’ implied needs and wishes, and create highly customized proposals accordingly.
  • Keep aware of trends, systems, practices and equipment in Food & Beverage preparation and service in the hospitality/food services field.
  • Prepares concepts for new food & beverage locations which are attractive, new to the market and incorporates an appeal to all senses
  • Develops strategies how to increase F&B revenues and profitability, from HORECA industry
  • Coordinate the sales efforts between sales department and catering to insure proper utilization of function space to yield maximum revenues.
  • Finalize the requirements of confirmed bookings while maximizing revenue potential through up selling and ensuring effective communication both written (Resumes, BEO, Daily Reports) and personal contact with all departments for the success of the event. Ensure accuracy of event Checks and provide bill review on completion of events.
  • Keep top management promptly and fully informed of all potential challenges or unusual matter so prompt corrective action can be taken where appropriate.
  • Supervise the execution of events.
  • Respond according to the crisis management plan to any emergency or safety situation.
  • Comply with company standards for sales and marketing, while working harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and planning committee.
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications And Skills

  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years previous catering, F&B or restaurant operations experience required
  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
  • Strong selling and interpersonal skills
  • High level of creativity
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and make decisions in a fast paced client driven environment
  • Ability to work long and irregular hours, weekends and evening
