Your Duties As A Finance Assistant Storekeeper
- Ensures that all activities support the Jumeirah Quality Management System.
- To open the store at specified time.
- To maintain stock levels for all items as per approved min / max levels.
- Setting up stocks as per the consumption and ensure that stock levels are maintained.
- To receive and verify the items from the Receiving officer.
- To store all items category wise in the storage areas.
- To arrange the entire store items as per the store requisition and keep it ready for issue.
- To issue the items to different departments on receipt of an approved store request and using control procedure and standards following the policy of First In First Out (FIFO) basis.
- To utilize the computer when necessary for the appropriate stage of storage and issues.
- To make a list of not available items and display it in the store office.
- To post all requisitions in the system on the same day.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the store.
- To inform the Store Manager of urgently needed items.
- To prepare the non moving and slowmoving item list and bring into the attention of the Store Manager.
- Keep all store items in appropriate temperature.
- Maintain record for all storerooms, chillers and freezers at least three times on daily basis.
- To ensure all store items are having a reasonable expiry date within Municipality guidelines.
What You Will Do More As A Finance Assistant Storekeeper ?
- To arrange purchase request to be sent to Supply Chain & Logistic Officer for below minimum items ensuring a proper lead time is given for SC & L.
- To follow up with supply chain and logistics officer and make sure all the items come on time.
- To maintain a proper record for the items returned to supplier without credit note.
- To prepare spoilage and breakage report if any.
- To advise the store manager of any customer complaints or dissatisfaction.
- To give feedback to the store manager on equipment problem, colleague issues, operating difficulties etc.
- To assist the Store Manager in maintaining the minimum stock levels.
- To conduct time to time random inventory of store items.
- To give Month end inventory each month to the cost control to maintain stock inventory level.
- To check chiller product expiry date on daily basis and entire Food Store product expiry date on monthly basis.
