Financial Analyst / Senior Financial Analyst

Al Faris Group

Financial Analyst / Senior Financial Analyst

So, here’s the deal: Are you one of those people who actually gets a thrill out of making sense of spreadsheets and telling stories with numbers? Yeah? Then Al Faris Group might just be your next stop. We’re hunting for a Financial Analyst (or Senior, if you’ve got the chops) to jump into the chaos and excitement of our Finance crew in Dubai. If you’re looking to move your career into high gear—especially somewhere with big machines and bigger budgets—this is basically your playground.

What you gotta bring:

– Somewhere between 3 and 7 years getting your hands dirty in FP&A, business analysis, or financial reporting.
– Bonus points if you’ve survived (or thrived) in equipment rentals, heavy logistics, generator rentals, or anything that involves lots of moving parts and spreadsheets that make your laptop cry.

What you’ll actually be doing:

– Wrangling budgets and forecasts across our business units. If you love updating rolling forecasts, you’ll fit right in.
– Digging into P&Ls, balance sheets, cash flows—the whole financial buffet.
– Putting together monthly reports that don’t just sit in inboxes, but actually tell us what’s going on and why.
– Flexing your Excel wizardry and Power BI skills to build dashboards that even non-finance folks can understand (miracles do happen).
– Teaming up with the ops squad to nail pricing strategies and figure out what’s making (or breaking) our profits.
– Wrestling with huge datasets from ERP systems—think of it as financial CrossFit.
– Jumping into ad-hoc analyses, feasibility studies, and basically being our go-to for “Wait, does this actually make sense?” moments.

The kind of person we’re after:

– Got a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Engineering? Awesome. If you’ve also got CA, ACCA, CFA, or an MBA, flex that—it’s a big plus.
– You know your way around advanced Excel and can build financial models without breaking a sweat.
– Power BI isn’t just a buzzword on your CV—you’ve actually used it (or something like it) to make numbers look pretty and useful.
– You get how financial metrics and KPIs tie back to real business results.
– You can talk numbers to non-finance people without making their eyes glaze over. Multitasking? No problem.
– If you’ve seen the inside of an asset-heavy company, you’re already ahead of the game.

Sound like you? Well, why are you still reading and not applying?
