Job Key Details:
- Supervise and train the food and beverage team
- Ensure efficient and smooth operations of the food and beverage department, including proper setup, service as well as breakdown procedures
- Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies
- Maintain inventory levels of food and beverages and coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure timely restocking
- Collaborate with the executive chef and kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders
- Oversee the dining area to ensure cleanliness, organization and proper table settings
- Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing training to enhance team performance
- Plan staff shifts and manage labor costs effectively
- Monitor and analyze sales and revenue data, and implement strategies to increase profitability
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers as well as contractors and negotiate favorable terms and pricing
- Stay updated with industry trends, new products as well as customer preferences
- Carry out any other related tasks as may be required
Job Qualifications and Experience
- The applicant must have practical experience in the same field
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including food preparation, service as well as safety standards
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of inventory management, cost control as well as budgeting
