Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and maintain updated factory HACCP system covering all Raw/packaging materials, utilities, processes, and Finished products and ensure its effective implantation at shopfloor. Ensures alignment of the HACCP studies with the factory Quality Monitoring Scheme (QMS).
  • Identifies training needs and leads training programs to support the Food Safety Management System- including HACCP team training and training needed for the implementation of the HACCP Plan.
  • Acts as the primary factory contact for all aspects of the Allergen Management Program by assessing the standards and organizing the implementation of the allergen program.
  • Ingredient/Recipe MAD documentation review and SAP recipe and Raw material specification approvals.
  • Conducts reviews of calibration, validation, and verification of OPRPs including root cause analysis of deviations and corrective actions.
  • Implementation and maintenance of FSSC requirements and their verification including food fraud/food defense assessment and improvement actions in coordination with respective area owners.
  • Support facility during internal and external audits and assessments including but not limited to; FSSC, Halal, ISO, NMS, Dubai Municipality, and other requirements.
  • Coordinate Management of change in factory and act as subject matter expert, ensure assessment of changes and understand their impact as they apply to the food safety and regulatory compliance of our products.
  • Manage Food Safety related incidents/near misses and identify weaknesses to avoid reoccurrences.
  • Coordinate and support the implementation of a foreign body Prevention system in collaboration with production and engineering teams.
  • Ensure effective implementation of pathogen monitoring system in line with respective generic and product category standards.
  • Coordinate implementation of Integrated pest Management system and oversee the activities of 3rd party service provider.
  • Maintenance hygienic condition of the factory by ensuring effective implementation of cleaning/hygiene and zoning standards.
  • Support the NCE Deployment in the factory by coordinating the Quality Pillar activities and organizing quality awareness campaigns.

Job Requirements:

  • University degree in Food Science or equivalent discipline with 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of HACCP is a must (at least level 3 to 4) – Experience in design, review, and Implementation of HACCP System
  • Certified lead auditor for FSSC22K and ISO9001
  • Practical knowledge of SAP, & Office 365 (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc).
  • Must be a Team player with good Coaching, Communication (oral & written), and interpersonal skills to enable results through others
  • Initiative, goal-orientation and problem-solving skills, data-driven thinking, and strong decision-making ability
  • Must possess strong project management skills and customer-service orientation
