Job Responsibilities:
- Actively solicit new business and respond to inquiries with the intention of confirming profitable catering business and achieving Quarterly Sales Goals. Maintain an active trace/follow-up system on all inquiries and personal sales calls. (25%)
- Maintain strong client relations and ensure that conference specifications are communicated and executed for a successful meeting experience
- Monitor conference activities on-site to ensure accurate and timely execution of conference arrangements.
- Review sales contracts as well as other important information, i.e., room block, cutoff date, special concessions and attrition clauses and validate with the client
- Produce and distribute conference resume before the first day of main group arrival and communicate any changes and updated information to hotel departments.
